The 2025 hunting season in Kazakhstan has concluded with strong and consistent results across all our hunting territories. The season combined productive mountain expeditions, selective harvest planning, and a high level of guest support in the field, resulting in a year marked by both trophy quality and hunter satisfaction.

Interest in our programs remained broad and international. In 2025 we welcomed hunters from across Europe, North America, Africa, and Oceania, with especially strong representation from Germany, Denmark, Spain, and Austria. We also hosted guests from the United States, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Southern Europe, New Zealand, South Africa, and other regions. A significant portion of the season’s bookings came from returning clients and direct referrals, confirming long-term trust in our organization and guiding standards.

Hunts were carried out in our core areas — Tastau, Zhasylkol, and Karakastek. Mountain hunts for ibex and maral remained the foundation of the season in Tastau and Zhasylkol. Tastau once again produced the highest number of mountain expeditions and trophy records, with several mature ibex taken at high elevation after demanding approaches. Zhasylkol delivered steady performance throughout the season, with balanced hunter distribution and reliable shot opportunities. Karakastek continued to operate as a focused roe deer area with controlled, selective harvest strategy.

Equipment data from 2025 shows a clear continuation of the premium rifle trend. The majority of visiting hunters arrived with high-end European bolt-action systems, led by Blaser R8, supported by Blaser R93, Mauser M03, Tikka T3x, Bergara, and several custom precision rifles. Caliber choice was strongly oriented toward mountain-capable magnum and modern long-range cartridges. The most common selections were .300 Win. Mag., .270 WSM, and 7 mm Rem. Mag., with increasing presence of new-generation cartridges such as 7 PRC and 6.5 PRC, as well as .338 class magnums. Overall equipment preparation level was high and well matched to terrain and shot distances.

Trophy measurements recorded during the 2025 season confirm continued strong biological indicators in our managed populations. Ibex trophies showed very solid horn length figures, including multiple high-class specimens. Maral trophies demonstrated stable weight and development across different hunt periods. These results reflect both habitat quality and disciplined harvest management over multiple seasons.

Trophy Statistics — 2025 Season

  • Average horn length: ≈122.1 cm
  • Range: 85–142 cm

Operationally, the season ran smoothly across transport, camps, and guide teams. Special attention was given to elevation pacing, glassing time, and flexible route adjustment based on animal movement. Hunter feedback most often highlighted guide experience, spotting efficiency, and camp comfort. We continue to refine each element of the hunting program while preserving the field traditions and discipline that experienced hunters expect.

We thank all our guests for the 2025 season and are already preparing expanded programs for the coming year.
